Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We are currently seeking an Anaesthetic Manager to join our Theatre leadership team in this newly created, full-time position covering both AM and PM shifts.
This is an exciting new position and reflects Southern Cross Healthcare's commitment to grow and provide support to our teams, to assist them on their leadership pathway - now and into the future.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Theatre Services Manager, Associate Theatre Manager, Theatre Coordinators and SSD Manager to help us provide first class healthcare to our patients and clients.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- Be a Registered healthcare professional (AT/RNAA) with a current practicing certificate with the medical sciences council.
- Have at least 5 years recent experience in the perioperative environment as an AT/RNAA , and 2 years specifically within a leadership role.
- Have experience leading leaders - this role includes leading our Anaesthetic Team Leader and other members of our anaesthetic team.
- Have a proven track record of initiating, and facilitating, change management projects.
- Flexible and adaptive with a willingness to learn and work with our amazing perioperative teams.
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand.
